Joy Alicea

Joy C. Hornish Alicea, age 57, passed away Sunday, January 10, 2021 at Browns Medical Center in Conneaut, Ohio. She was born in Charleston, WV on January 27, 1962 to the late James Hornish and Geraldine Schmidt.

Joy graduated from Strong Vincent High School, She was an avid reader, she loved to fish, loved Christmas, and spending time with her family.

She is preceded in death by her sister Victoria Bolla and daughter Julianne Alicea

She is survived by her husband of 35 years, Jose, her children, Jolene Nunemaker (Tom), James, Jacob (Wanda), Jessica (Jason), and a best friend, Karen Proper. Joy is further survived by her grandchildren, Trezla, Trizton, Marissa, Kyle, Maddy, Christian, Jake, and Sophia. A niece, Tracy Bolla (Jimmy), 2 great- grand nieces, and 2 great- grand nephews.
