Journey Buterbaugh

Journey Rae Buterbaugh, age 23, died unexpectedly on Monday, June 25, 2018 at UPMC Hamot.

She was born June 26, 1994 in Cleveland, OH., the daughter of the late Patti Ann Buterbaugh.

Journey Rae attended Fairview High School where she played on the softball team.  She worked in Erie as a caregiver for several years.

She enjoyed spending time at WLD Ranch and riding horses.

In addition to her mother, she was preceded in death by her grandparents, James and Martha Buterbaugh.

Journey Rae is survived by her aunt, Janet Rufini and her uncle, Joseph Buterbaugh, both of Fairview; four brothers, TJ, Taylor, Nicholas and Alex Arvanitis; cousins,  Jennifer Buterbaugh,  Jason Williams, Jason Buterbaugh,  Jeremy Buterbaugh. and Jessica Rufini and her children, Lauren, Allie and Bryn Dever.

Friends may call at the Burton Funeral Home, 525 Main St. East in Girard on Friday from 5-8 pm.

Memorials may be made to the family in care of the funeral home.
