Josephine Rosini

Josephine D. Rosini, age 105, of Girard, died Tuesday, April 8, 2014, at her home.

Born in Mount Carmel on March 21, 1909, she was the daughter of the late Dominick and Alice Winters Drucis.

Josephine was a member of St. Matthew’s in the Woods Church and the Holy Rosary Society at St. Francis Xavier Church.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Atelio Rosini, five sisters and two brothers.

She is survived by two daughters: Sandra Rosini of Girard and Elizabeth Halgash of Warminister; two sons: Louis Rosini of Fountain, CO, and Robert Rosini of Charlotte, NC; a sister: Ann Flynn of Mount Carmel; eight grandchildren and nine great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.

Friends are invited to attend a service in the All Faiths Chapel at Burton Funeral Home, 525 Main Street East in Girard at 3 p.m. on Friday. Burial will be private
