Joseph R. Komisarski, age 80, passed away on July 31, 2022 at his residence surrounded by his loving family. He was born on March 18, 1942, son of the late Michael and Anna (Vargulich) Komisarski.
Joe graduated from Rice Avenue Union High School in 1960 and went on to marry his high school sweetheart, Annette. He was a gifted Tool and Die Maker and worked in various shops over the years not only in the Erie area but also in St Petersburg/Clearwater Florida area. He loved the south and lived several times over the years in Florida as well as many vacations there with his family. In retirement, he and Annette spent winters there where he attended many cruise-ins and his beloved swap meets. He loved long car rides and the scenery of the Shenandoah Valley. You would every Sunday see him riding through the car lots. He loved spending time working on his land, wiener roasts and picnics with his family, making home made wine and watching his grandchildren grow up.
In addition to his parents, Joe was preceded in death a year ago by his beloved wife of 57 years, Annette; his brother, Michael E. Komisarski and his two sisters, Delores Romba and Janet Pratt.
