Jonna Palochak

Jonna S. Palochak, 35, of Erie, died unexpectedly Sunday, June 27th, 2021 at UPMC Hamot.

She was born October 14th, 1985. She was a graduate of McDowell High School and Erie County Vo-Tech class of 2004, and studied Culinary Arts, as she excelled in cooking. She was a diehard Steelers fan, loved to fish, and enjoyed animals of all sorts.

Jonna leaves behind her son Mason Joel Palochak whom she loved above all else. She had the biggest heart and her capacity to show love was unmatched. She never failed to offer herself willingly to anyone in need. Other survivors include her parents Jami and Velma Palochak, siblings, Joshua Palochak, Joseph Palochak, Jacob Palochak, Cheyenne Palochak, Randy Simitoski, Michele Irwin, Lindsay Fiddler, Shantiva Palochak-Stevens, Latisha Palochak, Diamond Jennings, Jessica Michael and their families. Her birth mother Samantha Amendola, her grandmothers Jean Palochak, Donna Hood and Jane Price, her best friend Alyssa Gentile, many Aunts, Uncles, Nephews, Nieces, and Cousins also survive along with Mrs. Carol Hirsch her favorite teacher throughout all her high school years.

She is preceded in death by her brother Justin Vanderstraeten, her “soul sister” Anita Marie Jones, Grandfathers John W.Palochak Jr. and William Price.

Friends are invited to call on the family Monday, July 5th, 2021 from 4:00 p.m. until the time of the service at 6:00 p.m. at Burton Quinn Scott Cremation and Funeral Service Inc. West Ridge 3801 W. 26th Street; service will be officiated by Daniel Banach of the Asbury Woods Congregation of Jehovahs Witnesses.
