John Witherow

John D. Witherow, age 57, of Erie passed away December 21, 2013.

He was born in Erie, PA on July 30, 1957, loving son of Carol Witherow Orlando and the late Herbert Witherow.

He attended Strong Vincent High School and worked in the Erie area.

He enjoyed the outdoors and walking his beloved dog Shiela.

John is survived by his mother, Carol Witherow Orlando; three sisters, Shirley Russell, Sherri Donnelly, Julie Leone and her husband Dominic, all of Erie. He is further survived by Aunts and Uncles; four nieces and 1 nephew and many great nieces and nephews as well as two special friends, Frank and Marci Voorhas.

Friends may call the Burton Funeral Home, 602 West 10th Street Monday from 1-3 and 5-7 pm with a funeral service to follow at 7pm, with Pastor Mike Bartlett of Delaware Baptist Church officiating.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to any local animal shelter.
