John Willman

John Willman, age 86, of Erie died Monday, August 12, 2013 at Golden Living Western Reserve following a lengthy illness.

Born in Venango County on January 19, 1927, he was a son of the late Harold I. and Ruth (Stevens) Willman.

John was raised in Harborcreek and had worked for General Electric prior to his military service in Germany. He was an avid fisherman.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by two brothers, Ronald K. Willman and Harry Willman.

Survivors include a brother, Harold (Gene) Willman and a sister, Freda Gibson and her husband Bob. John is further survived by many nieces and nephews.

Friends may call at the Burton Funeral Home 602 West 10th Street on Monday from 12:00 pm to the time of service at 2 pm.

Burial with Full Military Honors at Lakeside Cemetery.
