John Walters

John Joseph Walters, age 60, of Erie, passed away at home, Friday, May 31, 2019. He was born in Erie to Charles Walters and Patricia Ruf.
 
John graduated from Tech Memorial High School before becoming a painter for many years with Lesonik Painting. John loved Sy-Fy, especially Star Trek, and Marvin the Martian. He loved spending time with his grandchildren, and loved pets.
 
John is preceded in death by his parents, and his wife, Vera Cross Walters.
 
He is survived by his children, Dylan Walters, John Morrill, Heidi and Anita Denning. John is further survived by his grandchildren, Stella, Azrael, and Collen; siblings, Angela Roak, Joanne Francis Anselment, Dawn Elaine Young, and Thomas Edward Osteen III. He is survived by nieces and nephews Amanda Caron, Jennifer Bennett, Alan Bennett Jr., and Hailey Douglas.
 
Friends are invited to a memorial wake of sharing, Saturday, June 8, 2019 at Noon, 340 West 24th Street, Erie.
