John Stancliff

John Ervin Stancliff, age 50, of Fairview, passed away on Saturday August 5, 2017 following a long struggle with alcoholism.

He was born in Erie on November 4, 1966, son of the late John Ellsworth and Marilyn Bax Stancliff.

John graduated from Fairview High School, was self-employed and was a past member of the Fairview Fire Department.

 John loved boating and was a very loving person. He was a true friend and a person who would do anything for you.

John is survived by his sister, Diane Parker-Baughman; four nephews: Robert Parker (Jennifer), David Parker (Mona Lisa), Brydon Parker (Renee’), and Drew Parker (Kayley); as well as several great nieces and nephews.  He is further survived by his former wife and best friend until the end, Kathy Stancliff, daughter Secret (Dave) Lockwood and grandson Carl. Also surviving are his aunt, Sally Prozan and many other family and friends.

Services and burial are private for the family and funeral arrangements are entrusted to Burton Westlake Funeral Home, 3801 W. 26^th St., Erie, PA 16506.
