John A. Orth Jr.

John A. Orth Jr., age 59, passed away on Sunday, November 17, 2024, at UPMC Hamot Hospital after a short illness.

He was born on April 26, 1965, in Erie, to the late John A. and Jean (Mauer) Orth Sr.

John was a great husband, dad and grandfather. He loved to go fishing. John enjoyed cooking, especially for the holiday.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death earlier this year by his wife of 35 years, Tammy D. Orth and a niece, Amanda Maas.

He leaves behind to cherish him in memory, his daughter, Stephanie Orth (Nick); son, Joshua Orth; grandchildren, Christopher, Bianca and Alexander Fuller and his siblings, Debbie Springman, Lisa Volatile, Audrey Kendrick and Jason Orth. He is further survived by great nephews and nieces.

Services are entrusted to the Burton Quinn-Scott Cremation & Funeral Services Inc. Downtown, 602 West 10th Street, Erie, PA 16502.
