John Morrison

John A. Morrison, age 91, of Cranesville, passed away Sunday, September 9, 2018 at Rolling Fields Senior Living.

He was born in Brookville, Pa on September 1, 1927, a son of the late Jay and Geneva Chamberlain Morrison.

John graduated from Corry High School.  He was too young to enlist in the military but joined the “Home Guard” which was similar to the Reserves.

John and Audrey loved camping and traveling.  They were snowbirds for many years after he retired from RP&C Valve where he was a purchasing agent.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife of 65 years, Audrey Miller Morrison in 2015.

John is survived by his children, William A. Morrison and his wife Deborah of Girard, Ellen I. Greenaway and her husband Daniel of Port Charlotte, FL and Steven J. Morrison and his wife Rebecca of Cranesville; 8 grandchildren and 9 great great grandchildren.

Friends may call at the Burton Funeral Home, 525 Main St. East on Wednesday from 2-4 and 6-8 and are invited to attend a funeral service there on Thursday at 10 am with Rev. Jack Tickle officiating.

Burial to follow at Albion Cemetery.
