John Higgins

John David Higgins, age 60, passed away on Friday April 19, 2013 at UPMC Hamot.

Born on January 16, 1953 son of S.P. Higgins and the late Fred Higgins.

John was a Rolling Stones fan and enjoyed watching "The Big Bang Theory" and especially Bazinga. He loved spending time with his two dogs, Chico and Cochise.

He was employed at EBC Industries for 23 years and made lots of friends.

John is joining his father Fred and brother Paul upon his passing.

Survivors include his mother; the love of his life for 25 years and best friend, Lisa Shirley Higgins; his sons Jason and wife Shelly; Gene and wife Jennifer and John and wife Ashley, 8 grandkids, 2 great grandkids and aunts Sheila and Doreen. Also surviving is a sister Susie, a brother Mike and many nieces and nephews.

Services will be private and under the care of Burton Funeral Home and Crematory Inc., 602 West Tenth Street, Erie, Pa. 16502.
