Dr. John Andrew Heverley

Dr. John Andrew Heverley age 52, of Erie, passed away on Sunday, August 18, 2024, at UPMC Hamot. 

He was born in Ashland, KY on March 12, 1972, a son of Judy Milano and the late John “Jack” Heverley, Sr. 

John graduated from McDowell High School and went on to receive his Doctorate in Chiropractic Medicine from Logan University at St. Louis, MO in 2000. 

John had maintained his chiropractic practice at Young Chiropractic Center, on West 26th Street since his graduation from Logan, where he enjoyed interacting with his many patients.

John enjoyed spending time with friends and family, hunting, fishing, playing darts and observing wildlife/nature in his back yard. 

He was an active member at South Erie Turners.

The doctors told us his heart was bad but everybody who knew him knew exactly how truly amazing his heart was. John will be greatly missed!

In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his sister, Lisa Heverley. 

John is survived by his mother, Judy Milano and his stepfather, Gary Milano; his wife, Kathleen Basler Heverley; a nephew, Hunter (Jack) Klapthor and many aunts, uncles and great-nieces and nephews. 

Friends may call at the Burton Quinn Scott Cremation and Funeral Services, West Ridge on Saturday from 1:00 p.m. until the time of a prayer service at 4:00 p.m.
