John E. “Jack” Fetzner age 70, of Erie passed away on Sunday February 6, 2022 at his home surrounded by his family.
He was born in Erie on September 8, 1951 a son of the late Bernard and Dorothy Rust Fetzner.
He attended East High School and went on to serve in the United States Navy.
Jack was a photographer/videographer for the Erie School District for over 34 years. He attended Blessed Sacrament Church. He loved to take photographs and his family meant the world to him.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Robert and Kenneth Fetzner; three sisters, Elizabeth Klep; Francis Erdley; and Judy Ferguson.
Jack is survived by his wife of 31 years Joy Onorato Fetzner; two sons, John E. Fetzner and his wife Jessica of Erie; Bryan J. Fetzner and his wife Gillian of Cleveland; two grandchildren, Harley Grace Fetzner and Morgan Fetzner; two brothers, Bernard Fetzner Jr. of Erie; and Thomas Fetzner and his wife Colleen; a sister Sandra Lamp and her husband Orville Jr.; and many nieces and nephews.
Services were held at the convenience of the family and arrangements were entrusted to the Burton Funeral Home, 525 Main St. Girard. Inurnment at a later date in Calvary Cemetery.
