John Lawrence DiTullio age 74 passed away on Saturday, December 31, 2016 surrounded by his family at Millcreek Community Hospital.  He was born on March 24, 1942 in Erie, the son of the late John and Emma Ferretti DiTullio.
A lifelong resident of Erie, John served for many years as an altar boy at Holy Rosary Church and was a graduate of Catherdral Prep and Gannon University. He was Owner and President of Erie Carbonic Company which he started 50 years ago and was also affiliated with Coca Cola USA as a trainer for their service technicians. He was a master carpenter, a licensed electrician, a family historian and an outstanding chef.  John was always the one the family called when they needed something done or fixed around the house and his Christmas Eve Feasts of the Seven Fishes were legendary.
He is survived by Ann, his wife of 40 years, his 3 children; Marianna McKean and her fiancée Robert Bafik, David McKean, and Edwin (Mac) McKean and his wife Maysie; his wonderful grandchildren, Madeleine and Mercer McKean; step grandson, Anthony Eliason; sister Marlene Mosco and her husband Homer; his Aunt Lena DeLaura; his niece and Goddaughter Emily Mosco Merski and her husband Bob and grandnephew Robert as well as many cousins.
John and his family were very grateful for the wonderful care he received over the past three years at Millcreek Community Hospital, the Senior Living Center and the Wellness Center.  He thought of the doctors, nurses and staff there as his second family. They would also like to thank Millcreek Paramedics for their service and assistance.
