John "Jack" Ball

John “Jack” Ball, age 82, of Fairview, passed away Friday, June 7, 2024, at his residence. 

He was born in Braddock, PA on November 21, 1941, a son of the late George and Anna Kline Ball.

Jack graduated from Braddock High school and went on the serve in the United States Marine Corps. He was the owner of Ball Mobile Homes in Fairview for many years. He enjoyed golfing and hunting.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by four brothers: Grier “Daniel”, George E. “Gene”, Gilbert “Jim” and Arthur Ball and a sister Elizabeth “Betty” Ann Buhl.

Jack is survived by his wife of 59 years, Shirley Ann Ball; two sons: John J. Ball, Jr. and his wife Kim of Fairview; and Jeff Ball and his wife Toni Petrone of East Springfield; a grandson JD Turner; a sister Marie Stanek of Myrtle Beach; and many nieces and nephews.

Friends may call at the Burton Funeral Home, 525 Main St. East, Girard on Thursday from 5 to 7pm. Full Military Honors will take place at the end of calling hours.
