Joellen Sitter

JoEllen Irene Nolan Sitter, age 91, went to be with our Lord on Saturday May 28, 2022, after a long period of declining health while in residence at St. Mary’s at Asbury Ridge.  She was born on August 10, 1930, a daughter of the late Aaron & Irene Schwab Nolan.  JoEllen graduated from Academy High School and enjoyed art and her pets.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 52 years Raymond E. “Bud” Sitter.  JoEllen is survived by her children: Gary Sitter, Debra Denz (David), Peggy Rosthauser (Paul), and Julie Maille.  She is further survived by 8 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. 

Friends are invited to attend a memorial service in honor of her life at Burton Quinn Scott Cremation and Funeral Services, West Ridge 3801 W. 26^th Street, Erie, 16506 on Thursday at 11:00 a.m.  Burial will be in Gate of Heaven Cemetery.
