Joann Tracy

Joann C. Tracy, age 75, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, December 31, 2014.

She was born in Erie, PA, a daughter of the late William and Elizabeth Deickhoff.

Joann graduated from Strong Vincent High School, class of 1959.

She was a laundry service worker at St. Mary’s Retirement Home for 15 years, and enjoyed volunteering at the Sarah A. Reed Retirement Center.

In addition to her parents, Joann was preceded in death by her husband, Carl Tracy in 1998, a sister Jean Deickhoff, and a brother Jack Deickhoff.

Survivors include her son Tim Tracy of Erie, daughter Karla Villanueva (husband Joe) of Seguin, TX, daughter Kathy Tracy of Erie, son Carl Tracy of New Braunfels, TX, eight grandchildren and four great grandchildren. She is further survived by her sister Barb Deickhoff and several nieces and nephews.

Friends may call on Sunday from 4pm until the time of the service at 6pm at Burton Funeral Home and Crematory, 602 W. 10th St., Erie, PA 16502. Memorials may be made to the family in care of Burton Funeral Home.
