Joan Wasyl

Joan L. (Delgado) Wasyl, age 77, of Erie died Sunday, December 25, 2022 at St. Vincent Hospital. She was born September 23, 1945 in Erie the daughter of the late Joseph and Josephine (Stoof) Delgado.

A lifelong resident of Erie, Joan had worked as a Control Assembler at Erie’s General Electric and was a member of Triumphant Life Church. She also visited the Sight Center, and enjoyed the arts including painting and crafts.

Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Richard K. Wasyl; an infant son, Michaela Wasyl; three sisters, Ann Green, Dona Vasilik Cuzzola, and Alice Mead.

Joan is survived by her son, Jesse Wasyl and his wife Emily; a stepson, Stephen Wasyl and his wife Dawn; two granddaughters, Makayla Mae Wasyl and Nayomi Leann Wasyl and a sister, Barbara Budney, all of Erie.

Friends are invited to call at the Quinn Funeral Home, West 9^th & Liberty St. on Friday, December 30, 2022 from 4:00 pm until 7:00 pm at which time a Funeral Service will be held. Burial will private.
