Joan Giles

Joan M. Giles, age 59, of Erie, passed away on Tuesday January 11, 2022.  She was born in Erie, PA on March 28, 1962, a daughter of the late John and Sophie Pawloski Kaczynski.

Joan graduated from Tech Memorial High School.  She was the most loving, caring individual who would go out of her way to help others.  She loved spending time with her family, especially the grandkids.  She attended ReaLife Assembly of God and enjoyed Bingo nights.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by an infant sister Helen Staszewski, brothers John Staszewski, Edward Kaczynski, and sisters Janet Crawford, Jean Lawrence.

She is survived by her husband of 33 years, Terry J. Giles Sr., her son Terry J. Giles Jr. (Vivian), her daughter Julie M. Giles, grandchildren Melody, Terry III, Lily and Sophia, and a sister Evelyn Honard (Daniel).

Friends are invited to call on the family on Friday January 14 from 4pm -7pm and are invited to services on Saturday January 15^th at 1pm at Burton Quinn Scott Cremation & Funeral Services, West Ridge, 3801 West 26^th St.   Burial in Calvary Cemetery.
