Jerry Sprague

Jerry Alan Sprague, age 57, of Platea, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, April 19, 2016 at his residence.

He was born in Erie on December 4, 1958, a son of Norma Jean (Lucas) Crowley and the late Kenneth C. Sprague.

Jerry attended Girard High School. He recently had been self -employed. Jerry had worked for many years as a cook for his parents at Crowley’s Restaurant. He enjoyed boating and going to camp. Jerry will be forever remembered for having a huge heart and always willing to help others.

In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his brother in law, Richard “R.L.” Powell.

Jerry is survived by his mother Norma Jean and her husband Jack of Girard; two brothers: Richard of Fairview and Kenneth (Nan) of Jacksonville, FL; and a sister, Darcey Powell of Erie. He is further survived by his step mother, Pam Sprague of Erie, as well as three nieces, one nephew and two great grand nephews.

Services were held at the convenience of the family.
