Jeramy Derek “Junebug” Smith, age 41, of Erie, passed away Saturday, July 11, 2015 following a sudden heart attack.

Jeramy was born July 30, 1973, in Erie, son of Randy and Christine Lundell Rounds.

He graduated from Strong Vincent High School in 1991. He began working at North Coast Knife and Saw at the age of 13 and was currently the general manager. Jeramy was an avid golfer and enjoyed bowling. His pride and joy was his three week old son, Holden, whom he loved dearly.

He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Fridolf Lundell and his uncle, Fridolf Lundell.

Along with his parents, he is survived by his fiancé Carly Chlebus; son, Holden Olle Smith; brother, Austin Smith; sister, Eryn Victor and her husband, Frank; grandmother, Helen Lundell; uncles: Neil Lundell (Janice), Gordon Lundell (Jeannie), Walt Rounds (Gayle), Jerry Rounds; and an aunt, Heidi Potter. He is further survived by a nephew, that was more than a nephew to him, Cory Esper (Shannon); a nephew, Anthony Ciotti (Amanda); four nieces: Ryleigh Ross , Harper Grace Nick, Sydney and Madison Victor; cousins: Friede and Jason Lundell, Laurel-Lin and Stephanie Potter; Troy and Westley Rounds; and Carly’s parents, Diane and Bill Chlebus.

He is also survived by many, many good friends, including: Brad “Bo” Orlando, Quentin “Kevin James” Orlando, Jamie “Big Sexy” Goodrich, Paul Hanlin, Barry McCracken, Brandon Lehman, Tony “Cuzzie” Cuzzola , “Scuba” Steve Brady, Tim “T Fields” Feldmann and his long time employer and friend, Chaz Faulkner.

Friends are invited to call at the Burton Westlake Funeral Home, 3801 W. 26th Street (at Powell Ave). on Tuesday from 2-4 and 6-8 pm. and are invited to a service there on Wednesday at 1pm with Reverend John J. Detisch officiating. Memorials may be made to the family in care of Burton Westlake Funeral Home, to establish a fund for his son Holden. Burial will be private at the convenience of the family.
