Jennifer Gimber

Jennifer Gimber, age 56, of Summit Township, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, October 8, 2018 at her residence.

She was born in Erie on February 28, 1962, a daughter of John S. and Patricia Beatty Gimber of Lake City. 

She graduated from Girard High School in 1980 and Mercyhurst College with a degree in Criminal Justice.

Jennifer liked reading, making crafts and she enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her granddaughter.

In addition to her parents, she is survived by a son, Noah McCool of Erie; a sister, Brenda Brown and her husband, Kevan of Virginia, a brother, Brian Gimber (Stacy) of Lake City, and her granddaughter, Ava Schaak.  She is further survived by several nieces and nephews.

Friends and family are invited to celebrate her life on Thursday from 11 am until the time of the service at 2 pm at Burton Funeral Home, 525 Main St. East, Girard.
