Jenifer Robinson

Jenifer M. Robinson, age 90, of Erie and formerly of Kane, PA, passed away on Friday, November 10, 2017 at Forest View Nursing Center.  She was born in Erie on April 27, 1927, the daughter of the late George and Irma Diescher Messler.  Jenifer earned a B.A. at Clarion State Teachers College in Library Science and went on to receive a Masters’ degree in English at Clarion University of PA.  She worked as a teacher in the Kane area school system for 27 years.

She was a member of the Garden Club and Art League in Kane, PA, and enjoyed painting.

In addition to her parents, Jenifer was preceded in death by her husband Robert Robinson in 1999; a daughter, Gail Fink; and a sister, Irma Irish.

 She is survived by her two sons, William Robinson of Fairview, PA, and Jack Robinson of Lutz, FL; and eight grandchildren.

Friends may call at the Burton Westlake Funeral Home 3801 West 26^th St., at Powell Ave., on Saturday from 1:00 p.m. until the time of service at 3:00 p.m.

Burial will be in Mt. Tabor Cemetery, in Kane, PA at a later date.
