Jeffrey Paul Wolford

Jeffrey Paul Wolford age 66 of Waterford passed away at UPMC Hamot on January 28, 2025. He was born in Erie on January 19, 1959 to the late William W. and Lois M. Connor Wolford.

Jeff graduated from Strong Vincent High School in 1977. He was the owner and operator of Accutech Electronics in Erie for 20 years, retiring in 2014. Prior to that, he worked 11 years for G.E. Consumer Service. He served as a Sgt. in the US Air Force and was a member of the St. Francis Usher’s Club in McKean. Jeff was a true outdoorsman, he enjoyed fishing, snowmobiling and traveling to hunt out west where he harvested several elk. He also harvested a moose in Canada and many whitetail deer in Pennsylvania. He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends at the family camp in Hallton, PA, playing cards and dice games. Jeff restored antique radios and his 1953 John Deere 40S tractor and was featured as Mr. November in the JEN Sales Tractor Calendar.

In addition to his parents, he’s preceded in death by a brother, David Wolford and sister-in-law, Merrie Duda.

Jeff is survived by his wife of 46 years, Lisa A. Jones Wolford; a sister, Beverly F. Jones (James) of Harborcreek; brother, William L. Wolford (Mary) of Bumpass, VA; 2 sisters-in-law, Robin Thomas (James) of Erie and Joyce Bridges (Jim) of Seaside, CA. He’s further survived by several nieces, including a special niece Julie Oborski, nephews, grandnieces, grandnephews and cousins.

Friends may call at Burton Quinn Scott Cremation & Funeral Services Wintergreen, 2532 Norcross Rd., Erie, PA on Monday February 3, 2025 from 6 pm until 8 pm and also on Tuesday from 10 am until time of service at 12 pm. Military honors will be rendered by Erie Crawford County Burial Detail. Private burial in Erie Cemetery at the convenience of the family.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to a charity of one’s choice.
