Jeffrey J. “Jeff” DiPlacido age 30, of Millcreek, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, August 21, 2017.
He was born in Erie on August 8, 1987 a son of William S. DiPlacido and the late Betsy J. Murphy DiPlacido.
Jeff graduated from McDowell High School where he was a member of the football and basketball teams and attended Edinboro University and Mercyhurst North East. He then went on to work as a service and installation tech at Duggan’s Service and Appliance.
He was a very passionate Pittsburgh Steelers fan and enjoyed spending time watching games with his family. He enjoyed playing video games and loved dogs especially his dog Bailey. His family was very important to him and he loved spending time with them. Jeff felt very strongly about the importance of the service the Erie City Mission provided.
In addition to his mother, he was preceded in death by his grandparents, William John and Mary Ann DiPlacido and James Patrick and Alice Murphy.
Jeff is survived by his father, William S. DiPlacido of Erie; two brothers, William J. DiPlacido and his wife Amy of Pittsburgh, and Christopher M. DiPlacido and his wife Mariah of Erie, his nieces and nephews, Caedan, Micaela, and Morganna; and many aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Friends may call at the Burton Westlake Funeral Home 3801 W 26th Street (at Powell Ave) Erie, PA 16506 on Friday from 4:00 p.m. until the time of service at 7:00 p.m.
