Jean Tell

Jean M. Tell age 94, of Erie, passed away Saturday, December 29, 2012 at St. Mary's Asbury Ridge.

She was born in Pittsburgh, Pa on February 2, 1918, a daughter of the late John and Elsie Mullen.

Jean graduated from Academy High School and then went on to graduate from Mercyhurst College and Erie Business College.

Jean worked as a legal secretary for many years.

She was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church.

She enjoyed gardening and was a member of the Westminster Garden Club.

Jean was a sweet and devoted wife and mother.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded by her husband Robert W. Tell in 1996 and a son David R. Tell in 1998.

Jean is survived by her son Thomas W. Tell of Erie and a grandson, Joshua Tell of IL.

Friends may call the Burton Westlake Funeral Home 3801 W. 26th Street (at Powell Ave) on Wednesday from 10 a.m to 1 p.m. followed by a service at St. John's Lutheran Church 2216 Peach Street at 2:00 p.m. with Pastor Roy Washill Officiating.

Burial to follow in Laurel Hill Cemetery.
