Jean Kennedy

Jean G. Kennedy, age 93, of Erie, passed away on Thursday, September 27, 2018 at Saint Mary’s Asbury Ridge.  She was born in Erie, on July 26, 1925, a daughter of the late Frederic and Arloween Irwin St. John. 

Jean was a graduate of Strong Vincent High School and a member of Saint Peter Cathedral.  She was employed for many years as a machine operator at Nurada and was an avid crossword puzzle enthusiast 

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Robert C. Kennedy; and her brothers, Edward, Frederick and Paul St. John and sister, Donna St. John (Cohen). 

Jean is survived by her son, Michael R. Kennedy and his wife, Lindsay; four grandchildren,  Matthew and his wife, Salina; Justin and his wife, Jen; Erin Kennedy and Molly Davies and her husband, Seth; two great grandchildren, Evan and Sarah Kennedy; one nephew, Dr. Larry Kline and his family and a niece, Beverly St. John and her family. 

Friends may call at Saint Mary’s Home at Asbury Ridge, 4855 W. Ridge Road, Erie, on Wednesday, October 3rd from 12:00 p.m. until the time of service at 1:00 p.m. Burial will follow in Trinity Cemetery.
