Jaqueline Williams

Jacqueline V. Williams, age 69 of Erie, passed away quietly at home on Friday, April 21, 2017. She was born in Erie, PA on May 8, 1947 a daughter of the late Henri and Bessie Wright Ellman. Jacqueline was a 1966 graduate of East High School and also attended Tri State Institute. She worked for many years as an administrative assistant and activities coordinator with Voices for Independence as well as Hamot Hospital, NW lung Association and Lyons Transportation. She loved spending time with family and friends and was an expert in the kitchen baking. She also enjoyed sewing, knitting and crocheting.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband William H. Williams. She is survived by six children; William Bell Jr. (Michele) of Hershey, PA, Sonji Williams of Erie, Christine Coulibaly (Cooley) of San Diego, CA, Rosaline Meyers Charlotte, NC, Ronald Tangle of Charlotte, NC and Montel Roberts of Erie. She also leaves a brother Franklin Ellman of Houston, TX and two sisters; Donna and Cynthia Ellman both of Erie. A host of grandchildren and greatgrandchildren remain along with many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. The family would like to thank the staff at Regional Home Health and Hospice for their loving care.
