Janet Ryan

Janet Ryan age 71, of Cranesville passed away Saturday, March 29, 2014 at her residence following a lengthy illness.

She was born on April 22, 1942 a daughter of the late Herbert and Florence Hanrahan Fileger.

Prior to her retirement, Janet was a bus driver for the Northwestern School District for over 10 years, a packaging supervisor at Accu Spec and was also a production Assembler for several years at Great Lakes Automation.

She enjoyed spending time with her family, watching NASCAR, and playing bingo. She was always known as one of the loudest parents in the bleachers at sporting events for her family. Janet also enjoyed her simple, country living.

The night before she was to pass, she was able to watch her favorite movie “Dirty Dancing” with her grandson Keith.

She will be greatly missed by her family and friends.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, David Graham; a sister, Carol Felde; a brother, Darrell Fileger; and two grandsons, Jacob and Benjamin Graham.

She is survived by her husband Thomas “Mike” Ryan of Cranesville; her children, Charles (Robyn) Graham of Saegertown, Rick (Judy) Graham of Santa Fe, TX, Bill (Sandy) Graham of Albion, Debbie Graham of Cranesville, Gary (Amee) Graham of Erie and Jim Graham of Springfield; four step-children, Mike Ryan of PA, Jeff and Amy of Conneaut, Adam and Susan of Shady Point, OK and Steven and Gale of Lake City; seven siblings, Bob (Joni) Fileger of Daytona, FL, Bill Fileger of St. Petersburg, FL, Richard “Dick” Fileger of St. George, FL, Danny Fileger of Daytona, FL, Patty (Bill) Powell of Lake City, Linda (Skip) Podluzne of Albion, and Kathy (Franco) Maldonado of Holly Hill, FL; and several grandchildren, great grandchildren and nieces and nephews.

A celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
