Janet Raudenbush

Janet Ruth Raudenbush, 84, of Erie, formerly of Corry, passed away Friday, November 18, 2022. She was born on November 23, 1937, in Greensburg, Pa, the only child of the late Holmes and Mary (McCauley) Raudenbush. 

Janet lived at Polk Center from 1965 until moving into residence at the Barber National Institute in 1976. In 2005, Janet moved to Corry where she attended the Gertrude A. Barber Center, Corry Campus day program. She then retired to enjoy her leisure time in 2017 before moving to Erie in 2019 where she spent her final years. 

She was well-known and loved by her housemates, friends, and caregivers and was known to be strong-willed, independent, and tenacious. She enjoyed spending time with others and in her later years enjoyed relaxing in her home and watching the happenings around her. She enjoyed listening to music while sitting in her rocking chair with her blanket and eating ice cream. Janet was very spunky and lived life on her terms. 

Friends are invited to call at the Quinn Funeral Home, West 9^th & Liberty St. on Monday, November 28,2022 from 11:00 am until 1:00 pm at which time Funeral Services will be held. Burial will be in Laurel Hill Cemetery.
