Janet Ann Eisert

Janet Ann (Flynn) Eisert age 85, of Erie, passed away on Tuesday, February 27, 2024 at St. Vincent. 

She was born in Erie, PA on March 2, 1938, daughter of the late James E. Flynn and Cloella (Kuntz) Flynn.

She attended Sacred Heart School and Villa Maria Academy and graduated from Boca Ciega High School in St. Petersburg, FL.

Shortly after graduating high school, she married Harold F. Eisert at Sacred Heart Church on August 25, 1956.

Janet was a member of the Saint Jude the Apostle Roman Catholic Church. 

She enjoyed pleasure boating and was a past President of the Ladies Auxiliary at the Presque Isle Yacht Club.

She is survived by her husband Harold F. Eisert of Erie; son Michael J. Eisert and wife Meg of Erie, a daughter Anne K. Eisert and her husband James Piersol of Erie; a son Matthew J. Eisert of Columbus, OH; a son Mark F. Eisert and wife Amy of Edinboro; four grandchildren, Greg Eisert of Erie, Ellen, Alec and Owen Eisert all of Edinboro; and brother James Flynn and wife Rebecca of Erie; brother in law, Martin Eisert and wife Kathy of Erie. She is further survived by several nieces and nephews. 

Friends are invited to call on the family at the Burton Quinn Scott Cremation and Funeral Services, West Ridge 3801 W. 26th Street on Sunday from 1 to 3 p.m. and 5 to 7 p.m. and are invited to attend a prayer service there on Monday at 10:15 a.m. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at Sacred Heart Church 816 W. 26th Street at 11:00 a.m.

Burial will be at Gate of Heaven Cemetery.
