Jane Riha

Jane Edith Riha, age 97, of Fairview, Pa. passed away Thursday, September 3rd, 2015 at Fairview Manor.

She was born in Springfield Mass. on July 2, 1918. She was the daughter of Harry and Hazel Bedell and loving wife of Arthur Riha, who passed away in 1998.

She is survived by her daughters Judi Coleman of Erie, PA., and Carole Perg of St. Paul, MN, six grandchildren, six great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.

Jane worked many years for Kaufmans at the Millcreek Mall, in custom drapery sales. She and Art loved to travel and spent many years wandering Europe, especially Greece and Spain, even settling for a while in Guadalajara, Mexico. Jane loved to read, especially historical novels. She and Art were very spiritual and studied together throughout their life journeys.

In her later years Jane was very content at Fairview Manor. She enjoyed playing bingo and attending functions. She passed peacefully and is now surrounded by loved ones. The family will have a private service. The family, especially Judi, would like to thank the staff at Fairview Manor for their excellent care given to Jane.
