Jane Harris

 Jane E. Harris, age 97, of Maryvale Apartments in Millcreek, died peacefully at LECOM Senior Care on November 1^st 2017.

 She was born in Scranton, PA, on April 3, 1920, the daughter of the late David and Jennie Williams Lodwick. Mrs. Harris worked for nine years at Hayes Manufacturing and then for twenty years at Sanner Office Supply before retiring in 1987. Jane made friends easily and made everyone she met seem welcome. Her pleasant greetings and conversations will be missed by all those who knew her. She had a full life and kept busy right up until the end. At age 97, she kept her own apartment, did her own shopping and housekeeping; though she still missed her car which she gave up three years ago.

 Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Gerald H. Harris in 1980; five brothers, Robert, Charles, David, Nelson, and Lot; as well as a sister, Marion (Gilroy).

 She is survived by several nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews and a longtime family friend, Polly Feidler.

 Friends are invited to attend a Memorial Service at the Burton West Lake Funeral Home, 3801 W. 26^th Street (at Powell Ave.) on Tuesday November 7^th at 11:00 am.

 Burial will be private in Laurel Hill Cemetery.
