Jane Garvin

Jane Alice Hays Garvin, age 79, of Fairview and formerly of Beaver Falls, passed away at home on Saturday, October 8, 2016.

She was born in Beaver Falls, PA on February 19, 1937 the daughter of the late Leopold and Kathryn Kaminski Hays.

She was a graduate of Beaver Falls High School. Prior to her marriage, she worked in the lab at Providence Hospital in Beaver Falls, PA, and after marriage she dedicated herself to her family. She enjoyed gardening and playing cards with her friends.

She is survived by her husband, James F. Garvin of Fairview; a son, Doug Garvin of Fairview; a daughter, Pauline Homchenko, husband John, of Erie; a granddaughter, Molly Homchenko, fiancé Matt Bajoras, of Mystic, CT; a brother, Paul Hays, wife Arlene, of Mechanicsville, VA; a nephew, Gerald Hays, wife Cindy, of Pittsburgh, PA; a niece, Jackie Heinz, husband Bill, of Mechanicsville, PA; a great nephew Justin Hays, wife Becca, of Pittsburgh; great niece, Kelly Heinz, fiancé Kyle Frazier, of VA.

Private arrangements were entrusted to Burton Westlake Funeral Home, 3801 W. 26th Street, Erie, PA 16506.
