Jane Arnold

Jane L. Arnold, age 96, of Elmwood Gardens, Erie, passed away on Thursday, July 23, 2015.

She was born in Erie on January 18, 1919, daughter of the late Francis Tearpak and Agnes O’Connor.

She attended Sacred Heart grade school, Roosevelt Junior High and Academy High School and was a member of St. Julia Roman Catholic Church.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Arnold; a brother, Francis Tearpak; and a sister, Marjorie Awksent.

She is survived by a daughter, Nancy Meyner and her husband Daniel of Erie; three sons, Thomas Arnold and his wife Mary Ellen of Bellefonte, PA; Jack Arnold and his wife Ann of Lewiston, NY; and William Arnold and his wife Ann of Brevard, NC. She is further survived by 10 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren.

The family would like to thank the staff at Elmwood Gardens for their loving compassionate care.

Friends are invited to call on the family at Burton Westlake Funeral Home 3801 West 26th Street, (at Powell Ave), on Tuesday from 2:00 p.m. until the time of service at 4:00 p.m.

Private burial will be in Calvary Cemetery.
