James Moyer

James A. Moyer, age 61, of Lake City, passed away Friday, January 8, 2016.

He was born in Youngstown, Ohio on June 2, 1954, a son of the late Frank and Angeline Arcaro Moyer.

James attended Austintown Fitch High School. He was a member of Local Union #603, primarily concrete and asbestos abatement. He was also the manager of Country Gable Apartments. James was fun, kind hearted, considerate and giving man; he would give the shirt off his back for anyone in need.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his loving Aunt Mary and Uncle Dan Opincar, who loved and raised him like a son.

James is survived by his sons: Alex Moyer and his wife Tammy of Fairview and Samuel Moyer, (Holly) of Erie; a sister, Dianna Baker and her husband, Thomas of Austintown, OH; three grandchildren: Lillian, Thomas and Anna Moyer of Fairview. He is further survived by an aunt and cousins residing in Youngstown, OH., New York City and Maryland. James will be greatly missed by his close friends, Chet, Mark and Bill as well as numerous other friends.

Friends may call at the Burton Funeral Home, 525 Main St. East, in Girard, PA 16417 on Monday from 5-7pm. and Tuesday from 9 a.m. until the time of the Service at 10 a.m. at Immaculate Heart of Mary Church, 4490 Norquest Blvd, Austintown, OH 44515 OH, with Fr. Kenneth Miller, officiant. Burial to follow at Resurrection Cemetery.
