James Lyle

James R. Lyle age 87, of Millcreek Township, passed away on Sunday, November 4, 2018 at St. Vincent Hospital after an extended illness.
He was born in Warren Pa, on August 7, 1931 a son of the late Kenneth H. and Gertrude I. Nuber Lyle.
James graduated from Warren Area High School and Warren Business College with an Accounting Degree.
He worked as a Specialty Welder for AMSCO for over 25 years until his retirement.
James was a member of the S.O.N.S of Lake Erie Fishing Club, he served as the Vice Commander of the Coast Guard Axillary Flotilla 5-9 from 1993 to 1998 and was a member of other numerous fishing clubs.
He loved boating, Fly tying, and fishing both lake and stream. He was an avid bowler who also turned semi pro. James loved his family and spending time with them.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife, Carol Anne Lyle; a son, Kurt James Lyle, a sister, Joan B. Colvin and a great grandson, Kyle James Lyle.
He is survived by a daughter, Dianne C. Lyle; 7 grandchildren, Jewelee Lyle (Thomas Liddell), Colby L. Roos, Jesse S. Lyle (Tammy), April D. Yanik (Randy), Wendie A. Cressley (Jason), Holly D. Allen (William), and Lance Lyle; 12 great grandchildren, Tyler  Lyle, Justin Lyle, Cassandra Lyle, Alexis Lyle, Randy Yanik, Jr., Nicholas Yanik, Hunter Yanik, Samantha Campbell, Jasmine Campbell, Trystan Cressley, Bradley Southwick and Willow Cressley; a nephew Kenneth Colvin and several great great grandchildren.  
The family would like to say thank you to the 4th floor ICU staff at St. Vincent Hospital for their care and compassion they gave to James.
