James A. “Jim” Lehman, Jr., age 55, of Millcreek passed away suddenly on Saturday, June 24th, 2017 at Saint Vincent Hospital.
He was born in Erie on May 13, 1962, son of the late Alice Lehman and the late James A. Lehman, Sr.
Jim was the owner/operator of Conner’s Garage. He also managed the Jolly Rodgers Marina for over ten years. He was an avid boater who loved gathering with family and friends for a cruise around the lake.
Jim loved to garden and had quite a green thumb which he inherited from his mother. In recent years he developed an interest in Remote Control cars and planes and spent many hours challenging his friends to a race.
Jim is survived by his wife Janice Zelina Lehman, sons Timothy Tupitza and wife Brenda and Nicholas Tupitza and wife Jen, his siblings, twin-brother Jeffery A. Lehman, Kimberly Sechrist and husband Scott all of Erie, Brian Lehman of North Carolina, his grandchildren, Emma, Nicole, Jenna, Clara, Hayden and Bailey, niece Jennifer Lehman and nephews, Scott Broussard, II, Matthew Broussard, three great-nephews, one great-niece, two aunts, two uncles and several cousins. His best friends Randy and Brian also survive.
Friends may call at the Burton Westlake Funeral Home, 3801 West 26th Street, (at Powell Ave.) on Saturday July 8, from 3:00 until the time of service there at 5:00 p.m. with Father David Renne officiating. A Celebration of Jim’s life will follow at the Zem Zem Shrine Club, 38th and Zuck.
