James Kindle

James R. Kindle, age 73 of Fairview. Passed away peacefully at his home on Wednesday, October 23, 2013.

He was born on November 20, 1939 in Erie, a son of the late William G. and Elizabeth VanGeem Kindle. He attended Academy High School and went on to serve in the United States Army from 1962 until 1968.

James worked for Hammermill Paper Company for over 34 years and then delivered parts for Advantage Auto Parts for five years.

He enjoyed hunting, fishing, stock car racing. He taught hunter and trapper safety classes. In addition to his parents, he is preceded by five brothers: Bill, Dick, Chuck, Tom, and Ken Kindle; a sister Lynne Hibbs.

Survivors include his wife Kathryn, a son Michael Kindle of Fairview, a brother Donald Kindle of Erie, a sister Lynne Hibbs of Enid, OK; and many nieces and nephews.

Friends may call at the Burton Funeral Home, 525 Main Street, East, Girard on Friday from 2 to 4 and 6 until the time of service at 8pm. With Rev. Christopher T. Kindle (nephew) officiating.

Burial in Fairview Cemetery.
