He served our country in the US Air Force from 1959-1963 stationed in Lackland Texas. On November 23, 1968 he married Adele, and they celebrate a blessed union of 52 years.

He was also a member of the St. Paul’s Catholic Church shuffleboard team for many years and spent many hours in his woodshop and fixing things around the house. Jim and Adele were avid boaters and spent many weekends on Oneida Lake, the Erie Canal and throughout the Northeast. Once fully retired, Jim and Adele moved to Edenton North Carolina to enjoy the warm winters and the coastal waterways and made many friends and memories.
