James Ginkel

James E. Ginkel, age 63, of Erie, PA died on Wednesday, July 8th, 2015 at Saint Vincent Health Center.

He was born in Erie on June 7, 1952 to the late Paul and Maryzita Ginkel.

He worked for AMSCO, STERIS and General Electric. His true passions were performing music, watching his sons participate in athletics and spending time at Presque Isle. He also spent time with the Honorary Guard of the VFW Post # 470.

He is survived by his two sons, Eric (Elise) Ginkel of Syracuse, NY and Patrick (Ryan) Ginkel of Erie, three grandchildren, Taylor, Caleb and Maryn and his beloved girlfriend, Judy Hannah.

Jim wished to not have calling hours. His remains will be cremated and spread where special moments were made with Judy.

Arrangements entrusted to the Burton Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 602 West Tenth Street, Erie. Memorials may be made to the Regional Cancer Center at 2500 W 12th Street, Erie.
