James T. Endean, age 75, of Fairview, passed away on Sunday August 26, 2018 at UPMC Hamot, surrounded by family.
He was born on May 19, 1943 in New Kensington, PA, son of the late Frank and Elizabeth Bevan Endean.
Jim graduated from Waynesburg College class of 1966 and Fairfield University. He served in the US Army as First Lieutenant between 1966 and 1969.
Jim’s career in sales included Aluminum Corporation of America (ALCOA), Ervite Corporation and Uniflow Manufacturing. He traveled internationally extensively in his various sales roles.
He was a member of Wayside Presbyterian Church and the Perry Keystone Lodge No. 392 F.&A.M.
Jim had a great sense of humor and a big heart. He always had a kind word for everyone. Above all else, he loved his family dearly.
Survivors include his wife of 52 years Edythe, a son James Jr. Of New York City, a daughter Anne of Fairview, a sister Muriel (Tony) Turrisi of Manteo, NC, brother Frank (Susan) Endean Jr. of Lake Wylie, SC and several nieces and nephews. He is further survived by his brothers-in-law W. George (Ann) Edel of Sewickley, PA and Jon C. (Mary Ellen) Edel of Beaver Falls, PA.
Friends are invited to call at Burton Westlake Funeral Home 3801 West 26th Street (at Powell Ave) on Friday August 31st from 2-4pm and 6pm until the time of the memorial service at 8 pm with Reverend Keith Sundberg officiating. A masonic service will take place at 6pm.
