James Dale

James Hubert Dale, age 73, of Lake Geneva, Wi, formerly of Fairview, passed away February 7, 2018 at North Shore Hospital, Evanston, Il.

He was born in Erie on February 17, 1944, a son of the late Rush and Ruth Huber Dale.

Jim graduated from Fairview High School in 1962 and Penn State University with a degree in Chemistry in 1966.  He worked in the computer industry for various companies over the years.

Jim loved fishing, wood working, yard work, gardening and especially taking walks with Gaye.

He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Gaye Oliver Dale; two daughters, Kristen Randall and her husband, David of Lincolnshire, Il, and Kathryn Litzinger and her husband, John of Friendswood, Tx; five grandchildren: Brad, Alex and Matt Randall and Andrew and Nicole Litzinger.  He is further survived by 3 brothers, Rodney Dale and his wife Joyce of Girard, Dennis Dale (Karen) of Erie and David Dale and his wife Mary of Waterloo, Il; as well as many nieces and nephews.

Friends may call at the Burton Funeral Home, 525 Main St.East in Girard on Saturday April 7 from 10 am until the time of the service at 10:30am.  Burial immediately following at Fairview Cemetery.
