Jaliyah B. Spain

Jaliyah B. Spain, age 3 months, passed away on February 19, 2024 at St. Vincent Hospital. She was born in Erie on October 29, 2023 to her loving parents, Samantha Nicolia and Jayvon Spain. 

Jaliyah was a beautiful blessing and completed our family. If you were having a bad day and saw her she would brighten it right up. Her smile was beautiful and would make everything better! She was the most prettiest, precious, amazing baby and we are glad to have had her the time we did. She was super advanced, already holding her head and bottle. She loved to sit and watch Peppa Pig and play with her siblings! Peppa Pig was her favorite and had to be on at all times. She already was starting to talk so much at us. She was super advanced for 3 months. She will forever be in our hearts and will never be forgotten. 

We love you so much Jaliyah. You were very much loved! JayCeon will forever miss waking up and coming to play with you! Sariyah will miss making Tiktoks with you and being your second mommy. She swore you were her baby! Kiyanni, Raiyne and Jayla will forever love and miss you! There was absolutely nothing wrong with you for you were absolutely perfect. You were our ending to our perfect family. Heaven definitely gained the most beautiful, perfect angel. 

In addition to her parents, Jaliyah is survived by her siblings, Sariyah, JayCeon, Kiyanni, Raiyne and Jayla Spain; half-siblings, Demario Nicolia, Jamien Oliver, Javaeh Spain, Ja-Vareion Spain, Jayvon Spain Jr., and Jahmir Johnson; grandparents, David and Ellen Nicolia, Geraldine Spain and Jeffrey Marsh; great-grandma, Frances Spain; aunts and uncles, Djaun Spain, Vonjoy Hobson, Dan Nicolia and Mario Nicolia; godparents; Vincent Madison Jr. and Corey Hales and many other loving family members. 

Preceding Jaliyah in death are her great-grandparents, James Spain Sr., Sam and Elvira Nicolia, and Weldon and Katherine Petti. 

Friends may call at Burton Quinn Scott Cremation & Funeral Services Inc. Downtown, 602 W 10th St., on Thursday, February 29, 2024, from 12:00 to 2:00 PM and 4:00 to 6:00 PM. A funeral service will take place on Friday, March 1, 2024, at 11am at the funeral home.
