Jacob Foy

Jacob “Jay” Dean Foy, age 59, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, December 22, 2023, at his residence.

He was born on November 11, 1964, in Erie, to Almeada Smith Foy and the late Norman Foy.

After graduation from Girard Christian Alliance, Jay would serve in the United States Army. He would continue his education at Triangle Tech earning a degree in architectural design. Jay was a computer geek and an avid motorcyclist. He was a good father, grandfather and the love of his wife, Sherrie’s, life.

In addition to his mother, he leaves behind to cherish him in memory, his wife of 37 years today, Sherrie Foringer Foy; his children, Joshua Foringer, Amber (Robert) Morgan and Dustin Foy; grandchildren, Cheyanne Foringer, Ivy Wilcox, MyaRose Smith, Sara Morgan and Jamie Morgan; five brothers; one sister and many nieces, nephews and cousins.

A memorial service will be held at the convenience of the family this coming spring. Arrangements are entrusted to Burton Funeral Home, 525 Main St. E., Girard, PA 16417.

Memorials may be given to the family in care of the funeral home.
