Jack Stewart Durlin, age 91, of Edinboro, passed away on Friday October 13, 2023, at Edinboro Manor.
He was born in Warren, PA on July 4, 1932, a son of the late Jack and Mildred Olds Durlin. Jack attended Millcreek High School and was considered a ‘Jack of all trades”. He held many varied positions including a machinist and foreman as well as a plant security manager for United Refining in Warren, from where he retired. He was a member of the Girard Alliance Church and was also a Deacon for a local church in Arizona. He was an avid hunter and enjoyed wildlife. He loved spending time with his family.
In addition to his parents, Jack was preceded in death by his children John Stewart and Anna Marie Durlin and his son in law, Mark Charles.
Jack is survived by his wife Nancy Thomas Durlin, whom they would have celebrated their 75th anniversary in December and his children; Theresa Durlin of Erie, Sally Charles of Albion, Roger Durlin (Ann) of Mill Village, Charles “Chuck” Durlin (Nok) of Washington, Michael Durlin (Mary) of Girard, and eight grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.
Friends may call at Burton Funeral Home, 525 Main Street East, Girard on Tuesday October 17, 2023, from 2:00pm until the time of the service at 4:00pm.
