Jack Burgess, Ii

Jack E. Burgess, II age 57, of Erie, passed away on Monday, March 31, 2014 at UPMC Hamot. He was born in Erie, PA on December 8, 1956, a son of the late Jack E. and Jean Nyes Burgess.

Jack graduated from Academy High School. Jack loved the outdoors. He also enjoyed listening to music, reading and learning. He liked motorcycles and was very skilled at craft activities. Jack also loved his children, and family, especially his grandchildren.

Jack was preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by two daughters, Leah Burgess of Edinboro and Sara Burgess of Erie; two grandchildren, Gerard Holmstrom and Arielle Churchill; and a sister Nancy Hulihan, of East Springfield.

Friends may call on Thursday, April 10 at the Stancliff Hose Company, 4th Street, Waterford, PA 16441 from 5-10pm. Memorials may be made to the family in care of the funeral home.
