Isabelle Laurie

Isabelle “Daye” Marie Laurie, age 73, of Erie, passed away on Friday, February 10, 2023, after a brief illness.

She was born in Corry, PA on March 25, 1949 daughter of the late Robert and Rose Ann Graham Laurie.

She served in the U.S. Army from 1969-1972.

She was a 1968 graduate of East High School.

Miss Laurie was employed with O. E. M. Plastics for 14 years as an assembler and inspector.  She also worked at Dominick’s as a hostess and was loved by all.

She was preceded in death by three sons, John R. Cole, Leverne Cole, and Mark Anthony Cole, and a daughter, Kimberly Ann Cole, a brother, John Gregory, a sister-in-law, Susan, and a brother-in-law, Gary Cirillo.

She is survived by a son, Julio J. Cole (friend, Jamie) of Erie, a sister, Rose Ann Cirillo of Erie, and five nieces, Lisa Gregory of Grand Valley, PA, Janelise Erickson & her husband Don, Tina Ferraro & her husband Tony, Alexandrea Pelka & her husband Christian, and Lori Ferraro, all of Erie. Two nephews Joseph Brigham (Rachel) and Benjamin Kuntz of Erie and several cousins further survive.

Friends may call at Burton Quinn Scott Cremation and Funeral Services, Downtown, 602 West 10th Street, on Wednesday, February 15, 2023, from 2 to 6 p.m. and are invited to attend a funeral service there on Thursday, February 16, 2023 at 11 a.m.

Burial with full military honors will be in Wintergreen Gorge Cemetery.
