Irvin Friedman

Irvin B. Friedman, age 87, of Boynton Beach, FL and formerly of Ellwood City, PA, passed away in Erie on Friday July 1, 2016.

He was born in Slippery Rock, PA, a son of the late Philip and Florence Caplan Friedman.

Besides his parents, Irvin was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 65 years, Shirley Luxenberg Friedman; a sister: Elisabeth Welton and a brother Harold Friedman.

He is survived by his children Philip B. Friedman of Erie and Linda (Kenneth) Roberts of Bala Cynwyd, PA; five grandchildren: Erica, Chelsea and Brittany Friedman and Sarah and Julie Roberts; and many nieces and nephews.

Services and burial will take place Sunday, July, 3 at 1:00 p.m. at Roosevelt Memorial Park Cemetery in Trevose, PA.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Burton Funeral Home 602 W 10th St. Erie, PA 16502.
